Current metrics
Your current figures: cash, burn, runway, revenue, and headcount. Each metric can be expanded to show the individual inputs that produced it. Runway is the example worth understanding: it is not read from anywhere, it is derived from your cash position and your burn, so expanding it shows both of those. When a number surprises you, that expansion is where you find out why. A metric shows a Stale warning when the figure has not been refreshed recently. It is worth acting on before you send anything: a report assembled from a stale metric is accurate about the past and misleading about the present. A card also shows how the figure has moved since the last report and, once a metric has at least two periods of history, a small sparkline. The sparkline exists so a direction catches your eye, not so you can read a value off it; for the values, expand the metric.Needs your attention
Above the metrics, a panel lists everything with a deadline or a fix attached, most urgent first, and each row links to the page that resolves it. Rows come from three places:
A row disappears when the underlying condition is fixed, not when you
acknowledge it, which is what separates this panel from notifications.
Reports
The panel that tells you where you stand with your investors: your last report and when it went. The sentence beside Create Report at the top of the page states the number of days since you last reported, so the prompt and the action sit together.Notifications
Your notifications appear here as a panel on the Dashboard rather than behind a bell in the header. Unlike the attention rows, these are events: each one records something that happened and can be read or dismissed. If you spend most of your time on the Reporting page, this is the only place you will see them, which is worth knowing before concluding that nobody has asked you for anything.
