Everything about your own account lives on the Settings page, which is the last item in the sidebar on both sides of the product.

What Settings shows you

The Account Information panel displays your name, email address, company, and role. These are read-only. Name and email are set when your account is created, and role is decided by your company; see roles and permissions for what each one allows and how to have yours changed. Two actions sit beneath that panel: Change password and Logout.

Passwords

1

If you know your current password

Open Settings and press Change password. You will be asked for the current one before setting the new one, so a signed-in session someone else left open cannot be used to lock you out of your own account.
2

If you have forgotten it

On the sign-in page, choose the forgotten-password link and enter your email address. Vein sends a reset link to that address. The reset page verifies the link before it lets you type anything, so an expired or already-used link tells you so immediately rather than after you have chosen a new password.
The reset email goes to the address on the account, which you cannot change yourself. If you no longer have access to that mailbox, email team@vein.finance from wherever you can reach us rather than creating a second account, which will not be attached to your company or its data.

Accepting the Terms

The first time you sign in, and again whenever the Terms of Service change, Vein shows a notice you have to accept before continuing. It blocks the rest of the product deliberately, and declining signs you out rather than letting you carry on under terms you have not agreed to. Seeing it a second time does not mean anything is wrong with your account. It means the Terms have been revised since you last accepted them.

Display preferences

The Accessibility section of Settings has two switches: Both detect your operating system’s setting and show you when it is already on there, so you can tell an inherited preference from one you chose.
These two are stored on the device you are using, not on your account. Switching them on your laptop does not switch them on your phone, and clearing your browser data resets them. Every other preference in Settings, including your notification choices, follows your account everywhere.
